In 1990, a couple was studying the Bible in the Rose Garden of Minneapolis, MN (USA) and was discussing the duty of every Christian to spread the Word of God far and wide all over the world. It was then they heard the call to begin their missions ministry. Although they did not have any resources, they started planning to respond to the call of the Lord right away by spending more time studying the Bible and praying for guidance.  Little by little they accumulated savings and three years later the couple made their first trip abroad as evangelists.

That was the humble beginning of S.O.U.L. VN Ministry.  The couple did everything on their own, financed with their meager savings and some support from close friends.  They bought Bibles for poor Christians, helped local churches with small projects, donated money and clothes to the needy, and preached the Word wherever they went. To their great joy, many people were saved and many local churches expanded beyond everyone’s greatest expectations!

Since then, they have stayed abroad between three to six months each year—depending on how much money was available doing evangelistic work and coming home the other six or nine months to save money and recruit partners and minister locally.

The Bible says, “The harvest is so great, and the workers are so few.” (Matt 9:37)  Based on the belief that every Christian needs to get into the field and collect  the harvest for our Lord, SOUL VN Ministry was founded on May 11, 2000. The following is our mission statement:
